My summer wardrobe wish list <3

It's chucking it down with rain outside, I'm going shopping later and I have neglected my blog, so decided to be unproductive on my revision and do some online clothes shopping to create a wish list.

The first thing I have my eye on is this beautiful floral skater skirt from river island. It is so pretty and will look great with my mint green converse! It is £18 and I love it! The only problem is that I may find it difficult to find a top in my wardrobe to pair it with.

The next thing is something that I have really wanted for a few weeks now, and I can't tell you how happy I was to see that it was on sale. This day dress from Topshop is such a pretty blue and I love the skater style of it! It is so lovely and will look great on a warm summers day! It was originally £32 but has been reduced to £18 which is a fantastic price and I can't wait to buy it!

Another thing I really like are these high-waisted shorts from newlook! The swallow pattern is really cute and they are a really nice style. The parisian blue colour is great and I just love how gorgeous they will look in the summer! I can't wait to see what they look like on. They are £10 reduced from £22.99 and I just love everything about them!

I absolutely love this top. The print is so cute and pretty and the colours are gorgeous. It is so simple yet amazing all at the same time. This top will look great with a denim skater skirt, jeans or high-waisted shorts. It is by the designer Misumi from newlook. I love this designer, they have loads of really gorgeous clothes! It is £12.99

The final thing on my summer wardrobe wish-list is this beautiful, fun aztec crop-top. The colours are all so pretty and bright and I love it. The one thing I am slightly iffy about though is whether I will be brave enough to wear a crop-top. I have not seen it in real or tried it on yet so I will judge it then, but so far I really like it and hope that I will be able to pull it off. It will look great in the summer on a garden day or for a picnic as it is really cutesy and I love it! It is £9.99 from newlook.

Benefit They're Real mascara review

I absolutely love this mascara, but it is quite expensive at £19.50 for the biggest size. As you can see that is a very high price, and you can get mascaras that are really good for half that price, but I still love this.
It is super volumising and lengthens your lashes immensely while still looking very natural. It also curls your eyelashes beautifully while not clumping them together. Even though it takes a while to perfect the technique as the first few times you use it it clumps a little (but not after you have used it for more than a couple days), it is extremely easy to put one and really makes you eyes stand out, my favourite mascara by far! I also really love the packaging-I love all benefit packaging- as it is sleek and pretty. The effect of the mascara is instant and it lasts all day. Another good quality is that it does not smudge, yet it doesn't dry up on your lashes and crumble off either, which I find a problem with many mascara s that are smudge-free. This mascara is so good, and although it is expensive, if you like your mascara it is definitely worth adding to your birthday/Christmas list if it is out of your price range.

Cupcake nails

This is is one of my favourite nail art designs and its really simple to do as well!

Step 1.  Apply a base coat to your nails so to protect them from staining and chemicals.

Step 2. Select five bright, fun, cupcake-like colours and paint each nail a different colour. For this I used: Claire's nail polish in mean green, B.O nail lacquer in shade 90 (a sky blue), Essie nail varnish in off the shoulder (bright pink), glam nail polish in light pink and collection 2000 hot looks nail polish in fruit loop ( peach).

Step 3. Once the nails are dry take a white nail polish with a thin brush (for this I'm using mawkins french white nail polish) and three (or four) frilled lines going vertically down from the top of the nail to no further than halfway to look like frosting.

Step 4. As you can see your cupcakes nails are beginning to come together. Now you want to take a dotting tool or cocktail stick and use the give different co,ours already used to create sprinkles for your frosting.

Step 5. Once that has dried take a thicker dotting tool or the balled end of a Kirkby grip and dip it in a dark shimmery red, before creating a cherry on the top end of the nail.

Step 6. As you can see the cupcake looks great and fun. The final step it to use a top coat to give the look a glossy finish.

This nail design is so simple and fun to do. It is a great look for summer!
